July Favorites

Time for my monthly favorites! It seems like the summer is going by so fast. Soon I will be starting my senior year in school. One of my favorite things I have done this month was go to Disneyland with my family and another would be visiting USC. (If you want to read more about my USC trip, check out the post here!)

For beauty favorites this month, I have constantly been using my Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in 85 Beige-ing Beauty. I have used this a a base/primer, and then using my Lorac Pro Eye Shadow Palette on top, applied with a dual end brush or an angled eye brush. This makes my eye shadow last all day. I have also been doing winged eye liner with my Loreal Lineur Intense in Black Mica. This eye liner is super easy to apply and to flick off for a winged look. It is also very black, which is what I love when I'm doing that cat eye look. To top off my eyes, I have been using probably my all time favorite mascara, Loreal Lash Out Butterfly Mascara in Black 867. This makes my lashes very long and voluminous, which is what I look for in a mascara. My favorite foundation has been the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 130, which I have been applying with a blender sponge. It is one of the only foundations I can find to exactly match my tan in the summer, but the only bad thing is it does look pretty oily at the end of the day, because I have very oily skin. I haven't been using much blush, but have been using the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Medium Matte Bronzer, as a contour/blush for a natural summer look. I've been applying it either with a fluffy powder brush or a contour brush. For my eyebrows, I have been using Maybelline Master Shape in Soft Brown, which is the perfect shade for my brows and also comes with a little spool on the other end. For lips, I have used my EOS egg, and BareMinerals Lip Color in Cupcake. I just bought this a few days ago, but so far I have been loving the Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture for Combination Skin, which is supposed to control shine and oil. And my last favorite is Black Nail Polish, which sounds weird during the summer, but I've really been liking it.

If you didn't know, I am an artist. And this month my favorite piece that I have done is this scene from The Little Mermaid, which features Ariel and Flounder, who is hiding in her hair.

For music I have really been liking 5 Seconds of Summer's new album and I just bought 2 of All Time Low's albums. I have been listening to the non stop and I highly recommend both bands.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer in Sun Light
I  really like this bronzer. It's very natural and it's not shimmery. I like to use this everyday to give my face a little color.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 010 Darling
I think this is a great color. I was a little worried that it would look a little weird because it's like a light purple color, but I love it. It lasts all day, and is fantastic.
MAYBELLINE Baby Lips in Pink Punch
I love baby lips. The color is a great pink color and it also moisturizes your lips which is a great bonus.
One Direction Best Song Ever
This is one of the best songs ever. Enough said.
Teen Wolf
I am in love with this show. All the guys are super hot and it's just amazing. If you have never seen this show before there is something seriously wrong with you.
zoella280390 My First Time
This is my favorite video this month for 2 reasons. 1, She's one of my favorite Youtubers and 2, I love these kinds of videos. I was even thinking of doing one.
meghanrosette
Meghan is one of my favorite Youtubers. She's funny and I think she makes some pretty awesome videos.

Summer Workout: Best Health and Fitness Pins

Source
We are all secretly Pinterest junkies. Don't even try to deny it. I also know how hard it is to find things on Pinterest. So here is a list of the best health and fitness pins I was able to find. I hope you enjoy!

My Favorite Apps: part 2

This is the second part of my favorite apps. Once again if I don't mention an app, it doesn't mean I don't like it. It just means it's not my favorite go-to app that I must have or I will die.
  • YouTube; Every night I use this app to watch all the videos from my subscriptions. I would probably die without this app.
  • Pinterest; This is how I pin stuff 99% of the time. Whenever I'm bored I'll just go on Pintereest and look for things for #pinterestsunday
  • Bloglovin'; Without this app I would never be able to follow all my favorite blogs. I'm way to lazy to go look at every single blog and this just puts it right in front of me.
  • Blogger; My key to blogging on the go. Without this, I wouldn't be able to blog anything if I wasn't at home.
  • Capture; This is my key to video sharing. This is basically how I upload some of my little clips to YouTube. I haven't really upload much yet, but this is how I'll be uploading my videos on vacation.
  • PicLab; I would die without this thing. I use this to edit every single picture I take on my phone. I would not be able to survive if I didn't have this app helping me edit.

Road Trip Essentials

source

So as I have been mentioning I'm heading off on a road trip. I thought I would share with you guys my road trip essentials. I was inspired to do this by Bethany's video here. I thought it was the perfect season to do this, so why not? Now let's get started.

  • My laptop. I probably would not survive without. Plus I'm going to try to blog a little, so I gotta have it.
  • My sketch book and pencils. I love drawing, especially Disney characters. I wanted to try to draw more this summer and this is my chance.
  • Books. I'm bringing 3 books I think. Will Grayson, Will Grayson; Looking for Alaska; and An Abundance of Katherines. Surprise, surprise, they're all by John Green. What a shocker. If you couldn't tell, that was my sarcasm.
  • Notebook, giant eraser, and a pencil. So I have been kinda working on this book sort of thing. I'm in no way a good writer, but I do daydream a lot. So I thought I would write them down. I would probably like to look back at them some day.
  • Food. Okay, so if you don't bring food on a road trip, you are insane. I'm bringing my trail mix that I made, some salt water taffy, water, soda, chips, cookies, beef jerky, pretty much my whole kitchen.
  • My headphones. You gotta have something to listen to music with. I mean, after a while the radio just because a static mess.
  • Movies. I bring a movie to watch on the hours of driving we have to do. I haven't decided which movie yet, but I think it's going to be Tangled or Pitch Perfect.

My Favorite Apps: part 1

These are all of the games I have on my iPhone so I thought I would tell you my favorites. If I don't mention a game, it's because it's not one of my favorites. That doesn't mean I don't play it or I don't like it. I'm only mentioning the games I'm in love with and obsessed with.
  • Temple Run 2; I think this is way better than regular Temple Run. The graphics are better and the game in general is just better.
  • PvZ; This was a free game a while back and I am so glad I bought it because I'm addicted. I literally would not put it down for hours.
  • Temple Run Oz; So I know I just raved about Temple Run 2, but I play this one so much more. I love how you can switch worlds. Plus, I'm obsessed with Oz. If I had to pick I would definitely choose this one.
  • Tetris Blitz; When I downloaded this game, I wasn't sure I was going to like it because I don't really like original Tetris. But can I just say this thing is AMAZING. Whenever I am waiting, this is always the game I go for.
  • Tapped Out; Normally I never have time for these games where you build your own world. I guess since schools out I get to play it more. I'm actually surprised I play this so much.
  • Fruit Ninja; This game is super addicting. It's like once you die, you have to come back and try again. Plus it's a really great amazing awesome wonderful game.

I don't have that many favorites this month. Well at least I don't think so. I also don't have any fashion favorites, which I find kind of weird. As you can see, all but one thing is a beauty favorite. So I will just get on with telling you about them.

  1. e.l.f. Golden Bronzer; I have been using this as a bronzer because it gives my face a nice glow. But I have been using it more as a highlighter down my nose and across my cheekbones. It's very shimmery, but it does give you a nice glow.
  2. Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in 109; This is my favorite summer lipstick. It's a very nice coral color and I think it looks good with my skin tone.
  3. Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara in 001 Black; I love the brush to this mascara. It's perfect for those little bottom lashes. And the formula is pretty good. It's lengthening and volumizing  I do recommend getting the waterproof version though, because I have noticed that it smudges/runs a little on the bottom lashes.
  4. e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow in Celebrity; It is a great shimmery eyeshadow. It's a very natural color with a lot of shimmer/glitter. I wear it almost everyday. It's very school and summer appropriate.
  5. e.l.f. Studio Blush in Tickled Pink; This is a great natural pink color. It's perfect to wear everyday. And the best thing about all these e.l.f products is they are only $3!
  6. Bath and Body Works Triple Moisture Body Cream in Malibu Heat; Can I just say this scent is amazing. It literally smells like summer vacation. I am in love. Plus it's moisturizing too, so that's a plus.
  7. Cover Girl TruBlend Liquid Makeup in #3 435 Medium Light; I have had this foundation forever. It is literally the only one I have that matches my skin color. The formula's pretty good too. It's made with minerals. Plus since I switched foundations my skin hasn't broken out as much, which is really good.
  8. Bath and Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist in Pure Paradise; I am in love once again. Every time I smell this stuff it reminds me of some tropical island that I have never been too. It's like bottled summer. I definitely recommend buying this right now.
  9. Tangled; So I saved this one for last just so I could do a mini rant about how much I love this movie. I am a little girl at heart and love Disney movies. (Who doesn't?) I just bought this one on Blu-Ray and I can't stop watching it. I love all the songs, especially When Will My Life Begin (featured in this week's Music Playlist). This is just such a great happy movie. I'm always cheered up by it. And the ending still makes me cry every time.
